This Lagonda Series 3 was delivered in the USA and therefore has a lower power of kW 196 (according to the letter). In 2007, the car was imported to Germany by the current owner and has been in the family ever since (2 brothers in the letter).
As the owner is a technical engineer himself, all technical work and services were done by himself with the help of a mechanic friend (pit in the garage).
Now the car can leave the family. It underwent a partial restoration at a body shop. Both sills were replaced and all corroded areas on the vehicle were repaired. In addition, the oscillating screens were repaired and work perfectly. Air conditioning and cruise control have been deactivated by the owner.
Otherwise, the Lagonda is in good (electro-)technical condition and everything works (including the rear window lifters). The engine and gearbox run and shift cleanly.
The original tool box is unused and has never been opened. A lot of small and spare parts are in boxes with the car, as well as a lot of reading material on Lagonda, both English books and catalogues as well as German car magazines from the time.
The Lagonda manual and the original parts book and owners manual as well as the hubcap spanner are present.
